our story
The Springs Creative's journey began back in early 2021 - following an afternoon strolling through the seaside markets at Victor Harbour. Discovering dried & preserved floral designs sparked an idea and with some little research I soon decided- this was what I wanted to do! And I am so glad I did...

The name of "The Springs Creative" stems from the beautiful area we live in "The Springs" - with the road we adjoin being also called "The Springs Road"- it just fell into place quite quickly.
Initially I started to collect native floral stems from around the area and dried them in our shearing shed. I also sourced some stems from Australian wholesalers. I created 30 recyled jar arrangements and launched with a "Mother's Day" collection... which sold out in a matter of hours!

Enquires for weddings came rolling in and the business evolved quite quickly to be where it is today.
Weddings have become a huge part of our business. We love being apart of those special moments and creating everlasting keepsakes which then can become a lovely reminder within your home.

Away from The Springs Creative, I'm "Mum" to my busy little tribe of 4 - yes 4! I am super grateful that my little business is viable to be run from home - which allows me to work in with my kids so I am able to be there for those "special moments". My kids all inspire me and are my biggest supporters.
We live on a farming property between Mount Gambier and Millicent which is a great lifestyle. I am passionate about agriculture and the lessons that farming can teach our kids about the circle of life and hard work ethics.

I love a nice skinny latte with two sugars, a good podcast in my ears and I am a sucker for chocolate or a big bowl of pasta! I have a background in interior design and my childhood was full of dancing which then lead into me being a Calisthenics coach for many years. So yes, I do certainly LOVE being CREATIVE!
